Dear Texas Republican,
The past weeks and months have made one thing abundantly clear – this ain’t your Daddy’s mid-term election. A sea change is occurring across the United States, and Texas Republicans are leading the way. But your help is needed one final time, as this weekend is the last chance to make an impact in Tuesday’s election.
Thousands of you are already out making the personal difference in this election, and with the Texas Trailblazers program, we are continuing to press the battle through Election Day! This past weekend brought some showers across parts of the state, but the rain didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of the hundreds of campaigns and their volunteer forces who made one-on-one outreach the order of the weekend.
The RPT staff joined in this weekend in a number of important races. Chairman Steve Munisteri traveled down to Houston to blockwalk with volunteers from the Jack O’Connor and Jim Murphy campaigns in West Houston on Saturday. On Sunday, the Chairman attended a rally at Houston’s Bayland Park on behalf of Sarah Davis, our candidate in HD 134. Executive Director Jesse Lewis worked neighborhoods in Hays County on behalf of Jason Isaac, Communications Director Chris Elam walked the limestone hills of NW Austin for Patrick McGuinness, and Outreach Director Justin Hollis was in South Travis County working for the Paul Workman campaign.
The enthusiasm continues to build! But still, many thousands of Texas Republicans have not yet put their principles into action. To those of you who have been waiting for an opportunity to present itself – frankly, this is your last and only chance to do so. Its go time. Time to leave it all out on the field, with no regrets, no hesitations, no what-ifs.
It can’t be emphasized enough – We need you now.
