Accounting

John Alvey

As Accounting Director, John serves as controller for the RPT. His responsibilities include all in-house financial reporting and analysis, cash management, all payroll and HR functions, FEC and TEC compliance, annual audits, company liability and health insurance packages, maintain and update accounting software. He works closely with the Treasurer, Executive Director and SREC.

As Executive Director, Kyle works with the Chairman to organize and supervise the exceptional staff of the RPT. He is charged with developing a budget and ensuring that there are processes in place to execute the mission of the Republican Party of Texas. Kyle manages the relationships with the party’s outside consultants especially as the party plans for its 2018 State Convention.

Kyle and his wife live in South Austin and have three daughters.

Communications

As Comms Coordinator, Sam manages all communications being released from RPT. This includes press relations, social media, and emails. He works closely with RPT Administration to ensure our message is effectively conveyed

Finance

Marissa Vredeveld

As Finance Coordinator, Marissa serves as the primary in-house fundraiser, and works to maintain donor relations.  In addition, she works with all fundraising vendors contracted with the RPT, as well as maintaining the Grassroots Club.  Marissa is charged with event planning and facilitating all events from start to finish with the RPT.

Party Organization and Primary Election Administration

Brandon Moore

As Organization Director, Brandon works with all of the Republican County Chairs throughout the state to ensure they have the tools, resources, and support to help conduct the elections across the state and to help organize their Executive Committees. As the Primary Elections Administrator he also helps supervise the conduct of the Primary with the help of the Assistant Primary Administrator, other volunteers, staff, interns, and Party & Primary Counsel.  Brandon works with the Operations Director, and others to help with convention training & resources, and to help organize the quarterly SREC meetings & activities.

 

Joanna Kitchen

As Deputy Organization Director, Joanna assists with all things Primary Election related. She receives applications for a place on the ballot from candidates during the filing period, assists with Leadership Webinars, and is in constant communication with the RPT’s County Chairmen to ensure they have the materials needed to run a successful election.

Stephen Wong
RNC State Director

As Republican National Committee State Director, Stephen directs the state-wide field program that covers voter registration, GOTV efforts, volunteer training and recruitment, and data. He manages the relationship between the national and state party, and the 2018 campaigns in the state. Stephen also serves as RPT’s Political Director and Victory 2018 Director.

 

Spencer Davis

Spencer leverages data to guide the field team, and serves as a liaison to campaigns and party activists using data to inform voter contact.

 

Joel James

As Deputy State Director, Joel assists the State Director with the state-wide field program that covers registration, GOTV efforts, volunteer training and recruitment, and data.

 

Mark Irey
Regional Field Director

As Regional Field Director, Mark manages all voter contact for greater Houston including volunteer recruitment, management and training, voter registration, and coordination between the state party and local activists.
