Dear Texas Republican,

With November already upon us, it is a time of great excitement in our political process, and the holiday season is rapidly approaching!

As Texas Republicans, we know that to whom much is given, much will be asked. Friends, today I write to you to ask if you would please consider joining with other members of the Republican Party of Texas in coming together this holiday season to help make this world a better place for a deserving family.

The RPT Volunteerism Committee, as part of our ongoing desire to be involved in community service, is sponsoring a build day for Trinity Habitat for Humanity in Tarrant County – a group with the mission "to build homes and hope in partnership with God’s people."

This Build Day will be on Wednesday, November 30th from 8:00am – 3:00pm, and the beneficiaries of the new home will be the Tabor Family, Ephrem and Lubaba, and children Natnael (10), Blen (21 months) and Kirubel (4 months). This family of five shares a small one bedroom apartment. Ephrem and Lubaba have rented for several years and they cannot afford to upgrade to a larger unit.

In partnership with Trinity Habitat for Humanity, the Republican Party of Texas is seeking volunteers for the first day of the build to help and to participate in raising the walls on the Tabor's new home.

Trinity Habitat for Humanity has set up an online registration portal for us to use in signing up as many as 26 volunteers for the build day. Will you answer the call?

Please visit the portal link, and follow the instructions for registration. Remember to also fill out an online waiver while registering that will allow you to fully participate in the build. Once you are registered and logged into the site, search for "Republican Party of Texas" and sign up for the November 30th event by following the easy steps for signup on subsequent screens.

For more information, please view the following documents.

If you live in the Dallas/Fort Worth region, or are traveling to this part of Texas for Thanksgiving and the holiday season – please consider joining with us in volunteering your time and talents for this build. If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact me at 817-925-3420 or email volunteerism@texasgop.org.
