On Tuesday, October 12th, GOPIsForMe and the Hispanic Republican Club of McLennan County will be conducting a Hispanic Political Focus Group at the McLennan County Community College Conference Center. Financial and logistical support for this outreach event is being provided by the Republican Party of Texas.

The objective of the focus group is to gather input from local Hispanics regarding issues politically relevant to their community. The participants will engage in a series of multi-media presentations designed to collect responses from a varied demographic. Interactive immediate-response devices will be used to collect the data for future analysis.

Several experts will be on hand in the fields of border security, illegal immigration, health care and teen pregnancy. The event will center around lively discussions of these topics, and will provide detailed data from the community feedback.

Duke Machado from GOPIsForMe had this to say about RPT’s sponsoring of the event, “This commitment of the RPT shows a solid effort to engage Hispanics in order to understand the issues facing the community. We are thankful for the financial support and appreciate the confidence placed on our organization to collect this valuable information.”

The Hispanic Political Focus Group should be a very interesting and educational event, and is open to the public so be sure to stop by if you’re in Waco on the evening of the 12th. The program begins at 6:30 PM and will last till approximately 8:30. Refreshments and discussion will follow the event.

The McLennan County Community College Conference Center is located at 4601 N.19th Street Waco, TX
