The Republican Party of Texas is excited to announce three new additions to the team: Kristy Wilkinson as Political Director, Marissa Vredeveld as Fundraising Director, and Jesse Grady as Corpus Christi Regional Field Director.
Kristy Wilkinson previously served as the Regional Political Coordinator for the Republican National Committee during the 2016 Presidential Cycle. During this cycle she helped maintain and manage the operational needs for 12 states including the 4 targeted states of Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Virginia. Kristy started her political career as a Regional Field Director in Louisiana for the greater New Orleans region focusing on Congressman Bill Cassidy’s successful bid for US Senate. Kristy is officially the Republican National Committee’s Texas State Director and also serving as the RPT Political Director for the 2018 cycle.
Marissa Vredeveld is a recent graduate of Grand Valley State University and a native of Michigan. Previously, Marissa worked full-time at the Kent County Republican Committee as their Finance Assistant. In this role she maintained donor relationships, sought new fundraising opportunities, and planned a variety of fundraising events––including a reception with President-Elect Donald Trump and Vice President-Elect Mike Pence.
Jesse Grady started as an intern with the Republican Party of North Carolina, working on Senator Thom Tillis’ successful campaign. Jesse has also interned at the North Carolina Legislature with the House Principal Clerk, completed the Republican Leadership Initiative program, served as a field staffer for Turning Point USA, and worked for President Trump’s campaign in North Carolina.
Republican Party of Texas Chairman James Dickey issued the following statement:
“Texas is the land of opportunity – for both individuals and the GOP. We are excited about the quality and caliber of the new hires who have come to us from other parts of the country because they recognize this opportunity. I am confident that Kristy, Marissa and Jesse will be effective members of the Republican Party of Texas team and play an important part in keeping our state Red and reaching our goals.”
