First Day of Early Voting: Monday, April 22, 2019

Last Day to Apply for a Ballot by Mail (request must be received, not merely postmarked ): Tuesday, April 23, 2019

Last Day of Early Voting: Tuesday, April 30, 2019

Deadline for Ballot by Mail to be Received: Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. (unless overseas deadline applies)

Voting by Mail

To be eligible to vote early by mail in Texas, you must:

  • Be 65 years or older. You may apply for a ballot for an individual election or for an annual application which will apply for the remainder of the voting year
  • Be disabled. You may apply for a ballot for an individual election or for an annual application which will apply for the remainder of the voting year
  • Be out of the county on election day and during the period for early voting by personal appearance
  • Or be confined in jail, but otherwise eligible.
