The Republican Party of Texas congratulates our own Texas National Committeeman Bill Crocker on the news of his appointment as General Counsel for the Republican National Committee! First elected as our National Committeeman in 2004, Bill brings a stellar reputation and set of legal credentials to our National Committee and we are very excited at this news.

RNC Chairman Reince Priebus made the announcement today in a statement, saying “I am thrilled to have someone on board with not only the legal and political expertise that Bill possesses, but also someone who is an expert on the nuts and bolts of this committee. His long service in Republican politics and experience at the grassroots level makes him an ideal choice as we continue to grow our Party. I am confident Bill and his team will provide the RNC with effective guidance as we amass the necessary resources to put on a world-class convention in Tampa and make Barack Obama a one term president. I look forward to working closely with Bill as we continue to turn this committee around.”

Said Chairman Steve Munisteri, “I wish to offer Bill my congratulations on this honor. I can think of no one who would be better for this important position within our Republican National Committee and I know that he will do Texas proud in this job. On behalf of myself and the entire Republican Party of Texas I wish him every success in this role and look forward to working with him for further Republican victories in 2012!”
