RPT Update: Help Us Achieve Victory
What Can You Do To Help Republicans Win?
The Republican Party of Texas is working toward victory by implementing programs and opportunities for outreach across the Lone Star State through the Texas Trailblazers and our statewide blockwalking program. This week, Chairman Steve Munisteri held a conference call with GOP county chairs and announced the dates of October 16-17, 23-24 and 30-31 as the three weekends for coordinated blockwalking with county parties and candidates through the Trailblazer volunteer network.
While Democrats are out placing ads on Craigslist offering to hire paid blockwalkers, Texas Republicans are putting principles into action to earn victory! Join with thousands of other Republicans and sign up today!
Young Guns: Bringing Freedom Home With Our Youth
President Barack Obama and his Democrat regime are bankrupting our country and putting an unnecessary burden on future generations. Yet still, many of today’s youth continue sipping the Obama Kool-Aid and buying into the liberal lies they are indoctrinated with at today’s high schools and major universities.
This stops today.
The Young Guns is the official youth volunteer program within the Texas Trailblazers effort. Parents, if you have a son or daughter who is interested in helping keep Texas committed to strong Republican leadership through limited government and fiscal responsibility, then please encourage them to sign up for this program.
Here is how you can help. If you haven’t already, sign up to become a Young Gun now by going to www.texasgop.org and clicking the “Volunteer” tab. Write in the subject line that you would like to be designated as a Young Gun. By signing up, it allows Republican campaigns, clubs and organizations from all over Texas to connect directly with volunteers like YOU. Join with us today!
First, it is with well-wishes and our heartfelt gratitude, that we bid farewell to our outstanding Communications Director Bryan Preston, who has moved on to greener pastures through a new opportunity here in Austin.
Bryan came to us from Maryland, where he worked as producer of the Laura Ingraham Show, and has been a leading conservative blogger and opinionator since founding his first blog in 2001. He is a military veteran, and during his time here at RPT, did much to expose and criticize the hypocrisy of the liberals like Bill White who truly do not represent the best interests of our nation's fighting men and women.
An unparalleled expert in social media and outreach, his service to the Party has been one of selfless dedication and true leadership. Bryan may hold the distinction of being the only Communications Director in RPT history to have served under three State Chairmen, but despite those changes, he truly elevated and excelled in this role. We are very sad to see him leave, but he has promised to continue fighting for the good guys! You can already see him working for liberty and freedom over at PajamasMedia.com. Bryan, we wish you every success!
Secondly, we are pleased to introduce Chris Elam as the new RPT Communications Director! Chris spent several days in Austin transitioning into the role during Bryan's last days at RPT, and is wrapping up his first full week of work here in the office.
Chris comes to us from Rosenberg, where he spent many years working as a campaign strategist for Republican candidates in Fort Bend County and across Texas. Republican politics has been a lifelong pursuit for Chris, whose father Mark Elam is also a well-known strategist across the Lone Star State.
Chris brings a diverse background to the RPT - he is a homeschool graduate who earned his degree in political science from Texas A&M University, and now drives a big maroon truck here to the heart of Longhorn country. Professionally, he has worked on dozens of Republican campaigns across Texas, and we are thrilled to welcome him on board.
Remember, the Democrats and their operatives will not rest between now and November 2nd. Already, our candidates beat them on the issues, but we need your help to beat them at the polls. Please consider supporting the Republican Party of Texas with your financial contribution, and sign up to be a part of our statewide blockwalk with the Texas Trailblazers!
Now more than ever, we need you working beside us to help keep Texas strong, free and prosperous. Join us today!
