Temporary Committee Reports, including election of Convention Chair Note: under new RPT rules, the temporary Organization Committee shall recommend the permanent organization to the state convention.  The election of a permanent convention chairman shall not be in order until a majority of those delegates elected at county or senatorial district conventions have registered in attendance at the state convention. For the purposes of this section, alternates seated as delegates shall be counted as delegates.Will include a Tribute to and Remarks from Governor Rick Perry, Recognition of the Texas House Republican Caucus and introduction of Republican House members, Remarks from Land Commissioner nominee, George P Bush, Speeches from RPT Chair and Vice Chair candidates.
